The North Star

I recently purchased a tripod and thought why not put it to the test and find the North star...



If I was more patient I would have used a longer exposure than 23.6 minutes or 1418 seconds at F/8 at ISO100. Next time I will start out a touch earlier in the evening (than midnight)...

That's pretty awesome! I'd love to see what an exposure that is a couple of hours long looks like!
